NAB summons Shehbaz’s sons in sugar mill case

LAHORE:  The sons of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif, Hamza and Salman Shehbaz, in addition to the directors of Ramzan Sugar Mills were summoned by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore on October 30.

They have been summoned over allegations that a bridge costing at least Rs200 million was constructed for the sugar mill with government funds.

According to reports, Shehbaz Sharif had given illegal orders for the construction.

Hamza is already under scrutiny over the Punjab Saaf Paani Company case and has appeared before the anti-graft body a number of times.

On the other hand, Salman is being investigated for owning assets beyond stated means of income. He has also appeared before NAB a number of times.
