ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday constituted a two-member committee comprising member customs and FIA [Federal Investigation Agency] additional director to probe the illegal sale of Indian Direct to Home (DTH) technology boxes in Pakistan.

A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar made the decision while hearing the grey trafficking case. The apex court directed the committee to submit its reply within 10 days.

It asked the member customs to identify the source of smuggling of DTH in the Pakistani market.

In his remarks during the proceedings, the chief justice regretted that Pakistan is losing money through smuggling.
