Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry on Thursday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo and three-time former prime minister Nawaz Sharif would definitely go back to jail and he is ‘100 per cent’ sure about it, a private media outlet reported.
He said that the facts in Hill Metal case are very clear which prove that Nawaz Sharif is the chief executive officer (CEO) of the company.
The federal government’s spokesperson said that the money was transferred to Hill Metal’s account from where it was sent to a driver and then cook’s account, and finally, an amount of Rs80 million reached Maryam Nawaz’s account.
Further, the minister claimed that almost all those accused in corruption scandals sent proposals of National Reconciliation Ordinance-like (NRO) agreement to Prime Minister Imran Khan.
However, when asked about the names of those who have made such offers, the information minister chose not to disclose the names.
He said that Nawaz Sharif went to Saudi Arabia for ten years as a result of a deal with the former president and dictator Pervez Musharraf, however, no one now remembers Sharif family there.
