ISLAMABAD: Official spokesperson of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Maria Zakharova has said that banning of USA, European based International Non-Governmental Organisations (INGO) by Pakistan is its internal matter.
Speaking during a weekly press briefing on Thursday, Maria Zakharova said it will be not fair to comment over an internal issue of Pakistan.
However, she confirmed that in the recent past, unfortunately several USA, European based INGO’s along with number of media houses were not conducting the activities officially stated in Russia.
The response came in reply to a question about Russia’s stance on the recent successful operation by Pakistani Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA) against hostile INGO’s working against Pakistan’s national interest by instructing them to leave Pakistan, several of which were USA and Europe based.
