ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) Secretary Information MNA Dr Nafisa Shah strongly protested against the increase of power tariff and said that after July 25 elections, the rule of incompetent people had been imposed on the country.
In a statement on Wednesday, MNA Dr Nafisa Shah said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had burnt electricity bills but now the people are being electrocuted in his government. The increase in electricity tariff is an act of callousness at a time when rural areas are facing power shortage of 18 hours, she added.
The PPPP secretary information said that incompetent economic so-called experts like Asad Umar of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government have increased the price of bread at tandoors throughout the country. Prices of the daily uses item have also gone up, she said.
Dr Nafisa Shah said that the PTI government has increased the price of fertilisers resulting in multiple difficulties for the farmers.
