KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday said all records sought by the joint investigation team (JIT) probing the money laundering case will be provided as per law and “nothing will be hidden”.
While addressing media, the provincial chief minister added that the JIT had complained to the Supreme Court (SC) that Sindh government was not cooperating with the investigation.
“It is not the Sindh governor’s job to submit documents,” he commented.
Further, Shah added that he has spoken to chief secretary on the matter, and directed the administration to provide information pertaining to the issue.
PAKISTAN QUARTERS:
Speaking on the Pakistan Quarters eviction issue, the provincial CM denied that the matter came under the mandate of Sindh government.
“The land of the Pakistan Quarters belongs to the federal government and not the Sindh government. We have asked the authorities to take a step back to maintain peace in the area.”
