KARACHI: The groundbreaking ceremony of Karachi Central Hospital & Institute of Preventive Medicine & Research Centre was held at Water Pump on Wednesday.
Sindh Healthcare Commission Chairperson Prof Dr Tipu Sultan, Pakistan Medical Association (PMA-Central) Secretary-General Dr SM Qasiar Sajjad, PMA Karachi General Secretary Dr Abdul Ghafoor Shoro, Dr Qazi Wasiq and Dr Khalil Mukaddam took part in the groundbreaking ceremony of the hospital.
The multidisciplinary hospital would be constructed by the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) at Water Pump Karachi to facilitate citizens. This unique project will provide all medical facilities to the general public under one roof.
Treatment of all lethal diseases including aids, fistula, infertility, and trauma will be available in the multi-storey building of Karachi Central Hospital. The medical experts will be available round the clock for consultations and also deal with emergency cases.
