SHC seeks reply in harassment case

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday sought reply on next hearing from police and rangers in a case of an alleged harassment.

SHC heard the application filed by a citizen named Muhammad Arif against Rangers DG and Sindh IGP for alleged harassment.

The petitioner maintained that his daughters used to work in the home of Yasir Ranjha, where they were being alleged harassed. He said after this he stopped daughters from working there and since then Ranjha was threatening him.

His counsel Liaqat Ali Khan requested the court that security should be provided to his client and Sindh police should be stopped from harassing him.

The petitioner told the court that he had left Bahawalpur due to these matters and now he is being harassed in Karachi too. He said his 14-year-old boy was also kidnapped. He requested the court for security.

Yasir Ranjha, Malir SSP, Shah Latif Police Station SHO are respondents in the case.
