KP Police kill two motorcyclists for not stopping at checkpoint

SWABI: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police shot dead two motorcycle riders for not stopping at the checkpoint here on Tuesday.

Later, however, four cops involved in firing were arrested.

According to details, the police during snap checking at a checkpoint in Swabi signalled to stop a motorcycle carrying two people.

The motorcycle riders did not stop after which police opened straight fire killing a person on the spot while critically injuring another who also succumbed to his wounds during treatment in hospital.

The DSP took notice of the incident and directed action against the policemen involved in firing after which four cops were arrested who were being interrogated after registering a case against them.
