ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has said that the government is planning to make a film on the issue of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) to unveil ugly face of India and highlight every aspect of violence, torture, rapes, killing of innocent people by Indian troops.
Talking to a news channel, Ali said that film will be released in different languages across the globe to unveil the brutal killing and real face of India in front of the world.
The minister also talked about the various problems minorities face in India at the hands of Hindu extremists. He also said that India is already violating the rules of the United Nations (UN) about human rights and religious freedom.
Commenting over the performance of the government during the past hundred days, the minister said that social survey has been launched in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) and GB to collect the data about the basic facilitates regarding health and education. The government is committed to addressing the problems of the people on their doorsteps, he added.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that the government already had formulated a task-force about the promotion and development of tourism sector as AJK and GB are very rich for the tourism industry and will attract millions of visitors from all over the world.
“The promotion of tourism sector in these areas is the top priority of the government as Prime Minister Imran Khan is taking keen interest for the development of tourism to promote a positive image of the country,” he said.
Talking about the agenda of government, he said that a university is under construction in Muzaffarabad and other educational institutions and hospitals would be established in the different parts of the area.
“It is the main motto of the government to uplift the standard of living by taking steps to eliminate the poverty in these areas,” he added.
The minister strongly criticised the failed policies of the previous regimes as the county is facing many challenges and seeking financial assistance from other countries.
He said that all the resources would be utilised for the welfare of the people and the journey of development would continue.
The government would take bitter decisions for the welfare of the masses as people have high hopes with the Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The minister said that the clean and green project of the prime minister would be completed under the dynamic leadership of Imran Khan across the country. He appreciated that the students of school, colleges and universities taking part eagerly in the drive of clean and green Pakistan.
Commenting on the issue of dams’ construction, Ali Amin said that the whole nation is supporting and funding the construction of new dams.
Responding to a question, he said that the government will also take action against those found guilty in the projects without any discrimination.
