Bid to smuggle 1.3kg ice heroin foiled

ISLAMABAD: The Airport Security Force (ASF) foiled a bid to smuggle drugs and arrested an accused with a huge quantity of ice heroin worth millions of rupees in the international market, at Islamabad airport on Tuesday.

The ASF spokesman said that during a search of baggage of Noman, a resident of Charsadda leaving for abroad through private airline flight, 1300 gram ice heroin was recovered.

The ASF offloaded and arrested the accused with recovered ice heroin worth millions of rupees in the international market. The detainee was later handed over to Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) with the recovered drug for further investigation.
