ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) Information Secretary and Dr Nafisa Shah alleged on Monday that the federal government was using the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for political victimisation of opponents.
The lawmaker stated that the ministers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government never expected to hold such posts and now are perplexed by their newly-found portfolios.
“The statements of ministers clearly show that the NAB is under the control of PTI government which is using institutions for victimization of political opponents,” the PPPP Information Secretary said.
While reacting to the statements of PTI ministers against the former president Asif Ali Zardari, she said that the PPPP president had “only introduced the real Imran Khan to the nation.”
“It is a fact that Imran Khan and his party have miserably failed to run the economy and the country. Imran Khan wants to run the country on donations,” she said.
