Another Congo virus case reported in Karachi

KARACHI: The Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic virus was detected in another patient admitted at Jinnah Hospital on Sunday after which the number of the undertreatment patients of the Congo fever has reached to two.

Jinnah Hospital chief Dr Semi Jamli said that 28-year-old man, Nehal, who hails from Jam Goth Malir was shifted to the hospital two days ago after which he was diagnosed with Congo fever.

She said that during the ongoing year, 18 Congo fever patients were admitted to the hospital, of which eight died.
