RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturday met Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated.
According to a tweet by ISPR, “H.E Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Qatar called on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff. Matters of mutual interest including regional security issues discussed”.

The statement released by the media wing of the military mentioned that visiting dignitary and lauded Pakistan’s achievement in the war against terrorism and continued efforts for peace and stability in the region.
Earlier, the Qatari foreign minister met his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi where the two discussed bilateral relations and issues related to mutual interests.
