PTI leader switches to PPP


KARACHI: Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Sindh secretary social services Aeisha Varsey on Thursday pledged allegiance to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP); a major setback for the ruling party.

The news was shared by PPP on Twitter.

“Aeisha Varsey, a prominent designer and former Secretary Social Services #Sindh of #PTI called on the central President #PPP Women and MPA Faryal Talpur at Zardari House today and joined Pakistan People’s Party”, the party stated in precise press release.

The prominent designer called on PPP women wing central president and member of Sindh Assembly Faryal Talpur at Zardari House and switched loyalties.

Aeisha Varsey had joined PTI after meeting Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan in November 2017 who was the party chairman at that time.
