Writer and editor at Dawn Hamna Zubair on Wednesday shared a disturbing advertisement on Twitter by a Karachi based restaurant named Slamvich which insinuates that assaults and harassments are to be taken lightly.
A #Karachi eatery just posted this and it’s NOT ok.
As if workplace harassment isn’t already a huge problem!STOP sexualising the workplace, the workplace is NOT a place to ‘grab’ something ‘big and juicy’.

Some people pointed out that the advertisement may not necessarily have a sexual underline.
Someone pointed out that this has been done before.
This is disgusting. But this isn’t the first time. The creepiness extends to multi-nationals as well. The way women are shown eating icecream in some ads is sickly too. The word ‘Hardees’ has been used multiple times in ads in a way to have double connotations.
