SARGODHA: Six students and a driver were killed when a passenger bus collided with a school van on Tuesday morning near Salim Interchange in Sargodha.
According to rescue officials, the van was en route to a college when it collided with the passenger bus that was travelling from Khushab to Lahore.
It was further stated that six students and the driver were killed on the spot while three others were injured. All casualties were shifted to a nearby hospital while the bus driver is on the run.
Later in the day, families of the deceased students also held a protest demonstration and demanded the absconded driver be brought to justice.
