An audio clip of Dunya News journalist Haroon ur Rasheed has gone viral on social media wherein the journalist could be heard abusing and threatening a police officer.
In the clip, Rasheed can be heard arguing with a police officer, namely Rehan, asking about an individual, Nadeem Zafar, in the custody.
“Our sources have said that the accused is innocent and is beaten in jail,” Rasheed is heard saying to the police officer.

Upon saying that he is acting under the law, Rasheed replied to the police officer that “… your IG will see you”.
The veteran journalist went on to call the police officer ‘son of a donkey’ (gadhay ka bacha).
When Pakistan Today tried to contact the journalist, he switched off his phone.
