KARACHI: Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh on Information, Law and Anticorruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Monday lashed out at federal government’s decision of raising power tariff, saying that Imran Khan’s Tsunami is falling like an electric shock on the nation.
In a released statement, the advisor added that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has started to control the steering of Imran’s government. He condemned the power tariff increase as, according to him, it is cruelty towards the people of Pakistan.
Wahab said that decision of increase in tariff has been taken to appease IMF. “Within fifty days in the office, Imran’s federal government has increased gas, fuel and power prices which have brought price hike in the country, decreasing the purchasing power of a common man”, he added and advised the federal government to refrain from anti-people measures.
