Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that the results of 55 polling stations have been withheld and warned of a reaction if the results are not immediately issued.

Earlier, while speaking to the media after casting his ballot in NA-131, the former railways minister said contesting election in Pakistan is no mean feat as a level playing field is not provided to assembly aspirants.

He expressed dissatisfaction over the arrangements for polling in his constituency, saying details of polling booths set up in a polling station had not been displayed outside it nor did the election staff have proper knowledge about the voting process.

ECP TAKES NOTICE:

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) took notice of Khawaja Saad Rafique’s allegations and said that the counting was carried out under the supervision of the returning officer (RO) and the polling agents and nobody had the authority to interfere in the workings of ECP.
