Anti-measles drive in Balochistan underway

QUETTA: A twelve-day anti-measles drive that was formally inaugurated in Balochistan on Saturday is currently underway.

Balochistan Governor Justice (r) Amanullah Khan Yasinzai inaugurated the campaign by vaccinating children at the Governor House in Quetta.

On this occasion, the Health Provincial Secretary apprised the Governor that more 2.14 million children up to five years of age would be administered anti-measles vaccination during the drive.

The Governor directed the concerned authorities to make the drive successful.

Later, the Governor distributed gifts among the children gifted by the Chinese Ambassador in Pakistan Yao Jing.
