Rangers nab seven suspects in raids


KARACHI: Rangers conducted operations in different parts of Karachi on Friday and arrested seven suspects.

According to the Rangers spokesperson, four street criminals were taken into custody during targeted raids in Madina Colony and Saeedabad areas.

The spokesperson informed that the arrested were involved in several street crimes in the city. Rangers also arrested Muhammad Anwar Rais during a raid in Ittehad Town.

The arrested accused was said to be involved in dealing of stolen and snatching cell phones. Separately, Rangers apprehended two drug peddlers, Muhammad Sohail and Rizwan from Momen Goth and Preedy areas.

The spokesperson further informed that arms, drugs, and contraband were also recovered from the arrested. They have been handed over to police for further investigation.
