Will Smith unveils first poster of ‘Aladdin’

Hollywood actor Will Smith unveiled the first poster of Disney’s Aladdin and it looks just as magical as the classic tale.

The Suicide Squad actor, who recently clocked in his 50th year with a bungee jump in Arizona, will be playing the Genie in the much-awaited film. Smith took to Instagram to share the first poster of the film, captioning it, “LEMME OUT!!?? Can’t wait for y’all to see Me BLUE!”

A remake of the 1992 animated film, Aladdin is the latest in the line of classic remakes which include Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast and The Jungle Book.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Aladdin’s cast includes Mena Massoud (Aladdin), Naomi Scott (Jasmine), Marwan Kenzari (Jafar) and Billy Magnussen and Nasim Pedrad as Jasmine’s friends.

Directed by Guy Ritchie, Aladdin is scheduled to release on May 24, 2019.
