Opener Ahmed Shehzad has been included in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) players squad, according to Cricket Pakistan.
As per reports, the 26-year-old — who is currently serving a four-month ban after failing a dope test — is included in Gold category for fourth edition’s draft.
The right-handed batsman played for Multan Sultans last year and he is currently placed on their roster. Sultans can either retain, trade or release him back into the draft pool.
It is worth mentioning here that, Shehzad has played 13 Tests, 81 One-Day Internationals (ODI) and 57 T20Is for Pakistan.
The batsman was suspended by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in July and his four-month ban is effective from 10 July.
The fourth edition of the league will begin from February 14 in the UAE, whereas the draft is expected to take place in November.
