LAHORE: Pakistani Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter, Mehmosh “The Renegade” Raza will take on Filipino counterpart Arben “BigBang” Escayo in a Featherweight bout at BRAVE Combat Federation on October, 27, at Nishtar Park Sports Complex in Lahore,
This will be BRAVE Combat Federation’s 17th event and it’s very first international Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event in Pakistan. The card will be headlined by Brazilian fighter Cavalheiro and Abdoul Abdouraguimov from Russia.
Mehmosh has defeated fighters from Philippines, Afghanistan, Ukraine and China in the last 12 months and he has been on a promising run recently winning the ASPERA FC Featherweight Title.
Talking about the match, the fighter said: “Alhamdulillah, I’m thankful for the opportunity and I will not disappoint my country. I respect my opponent but there is no way you can beat a Pakistani on his own soil. You will see me winning.”
The Pakistani MMA star is taking on a more experienced Filipino veteran Arben Escayo who said that he has studied his opponent’s skills and will win the fight.
Mehmosh has teamed with MYGYM in Karachi to prepare for this fight with teammate Ahmed Mujtaba and coaches Anvar Alizhanov and Ali Magomedkhanov from Russia.
Praising the efforts of his coaches and sponsors, Mehmosh said that all this would not be possible without Bilal and MYGYM who are taking care of us as athletes and he won’t disappoint the team.
Further, the card also features other Pakistani fighters such as Zia Mashwani, Najm Khan, Uloomi Karim, Sikandar Badar and Abbas Khan.
