ISLAMABAD: The Department of Auditor General of Pakistan (DAGP) has conducted a comprehensive performance audit of the Neelum, Jhelum Hydropower Project in Muzaffarabad with a focus on aspects of economy, efficiency and effectiveness.
The audit report found weaknesses in areas of financial management, procurement, contract management, construction and works, assets management and evaluation, a press release issued by the DAGP said on Thursday.
The audit report has already been signed by the AGP and submitted to the President of Pakistan, Arif Alvi for laying it out before the parliament.
