The government of Pakistan on Wednesday launched an official website to track the progress of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s 100-day agenda.
The interactive website will be updated regularly and will help the public monitor the performance of the incumbent government.
In May, Imran had unveiled the agenda for the first 100 days in office if elected to power and outlined what the areas of interest of his government would be. The agenda includes transformation in governance, revitalisation of economic growth and ensuring the country’s national security.
After being elected to power, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders have repeatedly reiterated the government’s commitment to stick to the 100 days plan.
This initiative appears to be a great move because it would promote transparency of the workings of the government.
