ATC sentences two men to 21 years in prison over Sindh Secretariat attack

KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court on Tuesday found two men guilty for involvement in an attack on the Sindh Secretariat in 1995.

The two men, Nasir Khajji and Faheem Mirchi had admitted to receiving training in the Indian city of Faridabad, the Rangers prosecutor informed the court.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London’s Javaid and Ajmal Pahari had taken Khajji and Mirchi to India.

Explosive materials and were recovered from their possession when they were arrested in 2016.

The duo were sentenced to 21 years in prison under the Explosive Substances Act and Sindh Arms Act 2013.
