Slip of the tongue: Twitter reacts to KP Governor’s ‘mouth-to-mouth’ communication comment

In what seemed to be a slip of the tongue, KP Governor Shah Farman said to a group of visiting student’s at Governor house that he had invited them over to have ‘mouth-to-mouth’ communication with them.

The gaffe took place while the governor was interacting with students, who were at there to see the Governor House on the first day that it had been opened to the public. The video of the slip up shows Shah Farman speaking to a group of female students, almost all of whom start smiling as soon as he says “mouth-to-mouth” communication when he must have meant ‘face-to-face’ instead.

Shah Farman’s mistake was soon caught on by social media users, who were quick to poke fun at the governor.

According to details, the Governor House will remain open for public every Sunday as part of the Prime Minister’s Austerity drive. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government had announced to open official buildings for public use soon after taking charge.

On its opening day, students of two girls collages are visiting the building, with the Governor House being opened to families in the future.

Only the Sindh Governor House remains yet to be opened to the public, and will also be opened in the first week of October.
