ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) on Friday scheduled the hearing of suo motu case of 2014 Army Public School (APS) attack for October 5.
A three-member bench of the country’s apex court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar will hear the case.
The attorney general and the advocate general of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have been sent notices over the matter as well. The top judge had taken a notice of the matter during a visit to Peshawar earlier this year.
CJP Nisar had also directed for the constitution of a judicial commission to probe the APS attack.
Approximately 150 people, mostly school children, were martyred in the attack on the Army Public School on December 16, 2014.
