An exam of the Provincial Management Services (PMS) asked the students to evaluate the “current geo-strategic scenario” by analysing the Nostradamus-like predictions of a 14th century Persian Sufi poet.
According to details, the Pakistan Affairs exam of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Public Service Commission asked a 20-mark irrelevant question regarding the futuristic predictions made by Sufi saint Shah Nimatullah Wali in his centuries-old poems, creating a furore across the social media.
The subjective-part question of the exam says, “Describe current geo-strategic scenario in the light of predictions by Hazrat Naimatullah Shah Wali R.A.”
People on social media reacted to the matter and questioned the significance of the question on the saint’s poetic prophecies in the Pakistan Affairs paper.
“The PMS paper of KP’s Pakistan Affairs has a question about the “strategic importance” of predictions of a Sufi saint discussed thoroughly by Dr Shahid Masood in his documentary End of Days,” journalist Iftikhar Firdous commented.

A Twitter user asserted, “Having taken and passed the CSS exam. I can say with absolute certainty that the exam is a joke.”
Having taken and passed the CSS exam. I can say with absolute certainty that the exam is a joke. There were three separate objectives as to what date were Coca Cola, 7up and Pepsi invented. This was the US History paper in 2018. Induction process needs reform.

Firdous also pointed out that the paper asked the students to discuss the East-Pakistan debacle in the light of the Hamoodur Rehman Commission report while the document was never declassified or released officially.
