Punjab governor’s wife to initiate ‘Green Heritage’ campaign from tomorrow

LAHORE: Begum Perveen Sarwar, the wife of Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, will start visiting different heritage sites to revive their beauty by providing funds on behalf of Sarwar Foundation from Thursday.

According to the details, Perveen, who is also the vice chairperson of Sarwar Foundation, will initiate “Green Heritage” campaign to plant trees and green belts in different historic sites of the provincial capital as well as other cities of Punjab with the cooperation of the Heritage Department.

She will initiate the campaign by visiting Jehangir’s Tomb in Shahdara.
