Eid release Jawani Phir Nai Ani 2 which featured as ensemble cast of Humayun Saeed, Fahad Mustafa, Ahmed Ali Butt, Vasay Chaudhry, Mawra Hocane, Kubra Khan, Sarwat Gillani and Uzma Khan among others has emerged on top and has taken the crown of the highest grossing Pakistani film as it collected 60 crores.
Lead star of the film, Humayun Saeed, who also happens to be the producer, shared the news on social media.
“First Pakistani movie to cross the 60-crore mark. Masha Allah. Thank you to all of you for you consistent love and support!,” he wrote on Twitter.

The duo of Humayun and director Nadeem Baig has always created magic at the box-office and JPNA 2’s box-office number are proof of that.
The film follows the escapades and adventures of four boys played by Humayun, Ahmed, Fahad and Vasay as they attempt to get their friend, Sherry (Humayun) hitched. The comedy-drama film also featured actors from across the border including veteran Kanwaljit Singh.
Meanwhile, following close behind JPNA 2 is the Hamza Ali Abbasi airforce drama, Parwaaz Hai Junoon which collected 40 crores as per the last reports.
