‘Spirit of victory wins matches, not big names’: PM backs CM

LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed a meeting of the provincial cabinet and secretaries in the Punjab Chief Minister’s Office on Sunday where he appreciated the hard work and day and night efforts of CM Sardar Usman Buzdar.

In his address to the dignitaries, the PM said that CM Buzdar is a team leader and the whole team has to work for change under his supervision as the people have attached high hopes with the PTI leadership.

He directed the CM to put a check on all government departments and bring forth suggestions for improvement by analysing their performance.

PM Khan said that the team leader’s vision works to win the match. “The match is not won with big players but it is the spirit of victory which brings success,” he said.

Expressing his support for the chief minister, the premier said the match against status quo will be won under the leadership of CM Buzdar.

The premier further stated that it is for the first time that there has been a chief minister in Punjab who is not only honest and belongs to the backward area but also gives respect to everyone.

“Working from morning to evening and dedicated to the public service, he is available for public seven days a week,” PM Khan said, adding that it is fortunate for Punjab to have a leader like Buzdar who is respected by the people.
