Roadside event in Geneva highlights HR violations by Indian forces in IOK

ISLAMABAD: A roadside roundtable was conducted in Geneva on the sidelines of 39th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), to raise awareness about the miserable condition of the people in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).

A statement from Geneva said that the event highlighted the indefinite cruelty, torture, blinding, rapes, killing and inhuman and degrading treatment and punishment meted out to Kashmiris living under Indian occupation.

All Parties Hurriyat Conference – Azad Jammu Kashmir (APHC-AJK) Convener Syed Faiz Naqshbandi highlighted the state terrorism by Indian forces such as rape, murder, enforced disappearances, mass graves, illegal detentions and the use of pellets on peaceful protestors.
