The Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital in Swat may be closed down due to lack of funds, a local media outlet reported on Saturday.
The Punjab Trust Hospital (PTH), which had built the hospital in 2016 and sebsequently provided for its operational costs, has decided not to bear the expenses further.
According to an official from the hospital, collections from charity are being used to run the facility but said that this is unsustainable.
