- CJP says Pakistan’s enemies resorting to conspiracies
Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar on Saturday said that Pakistan’s enemies know they can’t hurt us by using force and that’s why they are resorting to conspiracies, a private TV channel reported.
“Our enemies can’t hurt us by using sheer force and this is making them resort to plotting conspiracies,” he said while speaking at the District Bar Association in Chitral. “It is unfortunate that every child born in the country is born with Rs170,000 of debt on them and it was imperative that we work to rectify this issue,” he added.
Justice Nisar observed that roads of Chitral were in a derelict state and were not up to the mark. The top judge said that authorities responsible for the deteriorated condition of these roads would be taken to the task. He said that the government should facilitate the public in getting basic necessities of life.
The chief justice said that the country was heavily in debt and the government should take effective steps to finish these loans. He also said that construction of dams was the dire need of the hour. He urged the bar members to contribute for the construction of the dams.
Earlier, Chief Justice Nisar visited the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital of Chitral and inquired about the health of the patients. He also inspected the medical care services being dispensed to the citizens.
