According to the police, Ashraf’s driver Abid Nawaz was behind the wheels of his official vehicle, when he collided with the motorcyclist on the Islamabad Expressway near Zero Point. The victim, Zeeshan Abbasi, was a constable in the Rawalpindi Police.

The people surrounded the vehicle soon after the accident and called the authorities, who later took Nawaz along with the vehicle to the Aabpara Police Station.

The expressway has four lanes with an additional lane for cyclists and motorcyclists on each side. A video in this regard was also leaked on social media.
