Protesters express solidarity with two martyred Levies personnel in Qila Saifullah

Thousands of people poured on roads on Thursday to record their protest against the attack in Qila Saifullah the other day in which two Levies personnel were martyred.

A picture of the protest was posted on Twitter by the Member National Assembly (MNA) and Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM leader Moshin Dawar.

 

The protestors demanded the arrest of culprits behind the attack and urged that the Pashtun areas in Balochistan should be freed from Talibanisation. The slogans of “we want peace in our homeland” were raised during the protest.

Earlier on Wednesday, two Levies personnel were martyred and another wounded when some unidentified militants, riding on motorcycles, opened fire in the Main Bazaar of Qila Saifullah in Balochistan on late Tuesday night.

According to details, the militants had attacked at the levies personnel who were on duty in the Main Bazaar of Qila Saifullah as a result two officials were martyred and another was critically injured. The attackers managed to escape from the scene.

The deceased were identified as Muhammad Akram and Munir. The dead and injured were shifted to Qila Saifullah Hospital.

Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal has condemned terrorist attack and expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives.
