PM Khan reaches UAE, discusses economic cooperation

ABU DHABI: Prime Minister Imran Khan reached Abu Dhabi on Wednesday night on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) where he discussed ways to enhance economic cooperation and investment opportunities with the hosts.

He was warmly received by Crown Prince HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the Presidential Apron, Abu Dhabi Airport.

The two sides discussed bilateral relations, expressed satisfaction over the current level of mutual cooperation, vowing to further enhance their cooperative ties.

Both sides expressed satisfaction over the commonality and convergence of views on issues of regional and global importance.

Way and means to further strengthen economic cooperation and increasing investments also discussed.

The UAE side included Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

On the other hand, the Pakistan delegation comprised Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Asad Umar, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry and Advisor for Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood and Ambassador of Pakistan to the UAE Moazzam Ahmed Khan.
