DUBAI: The stage is set for the much-anticipated Asia Cup 2018 match between India and Pakistan taking place in Dubai on Wednesday, reported Khaleej Times.
In an example of the game binding the countries together, Pakistan cricket team’s superfan Bashir, better known as Chacha Chicago, bought flight tickets for Sudhir Gautam, an ardent Sachin Tendulkar fan.
He also assured Sudhir that his flight tickets and accommodation in Dubai will be taken care of.
It all transpired when Sudhir told Bashir that he will not be able to make it the UAE due to lack of financial support.
“It’s pure love. You know money will come and go with Allah’s grace. I told Sudhir you just come here and I will take care of everything. I am not a rich person but my heart is as big as an ocean. If I help you, Allah will be happy,” Bashir Chacha told media from the UAE.
