Pakistan-China agree to enhance ties in diverse fields

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and China have agreed to enhance collaboration at people to people level which includes interaction between the educational institutes, academia and young generation.

Consensus to this effect was reached at a meeting between Minister for Law and Justice Dr. Farogh Naseem and Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing in Islamabad.

During the meeting, Dr. Farogh Naseem said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has added yet another dimension to the already strong bilateral relations.

He suggested to the Chinese Ambassador that the disputes between Chinese and Pakistani businessmen, whether pertaining to CPEC or otherwise, should be settled amicably.

Chinese Ambassador appreciated the suggestions of Law Minister and reiterated his Government’s desire to work closely with the new Government.

Ambassador of China to Pakistan also called on Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood in Islamabad.

Talking on this occasion, the Minister said that Pakistan is facing myriad challenges in education sector and would like the support of China in guiding us on Human Development.

The Ambassador of China said Chinese government will work for the promotion of health, education, skill and human development and poverty alleviation in Pakistan.
