Pakistan players will wear the ‘championship mindset’ wristbands during the 2018 Asia Cup for motivation and positive mindset.

In a video of Pakistan cricket team Facebook page, the player including captain Sarfraz Ahmed talked about the impact and significance of the band.

“During our recent training session at Kakul military academy, our coach Micky Arthur gave these bands to us so that whenever we feel down or negative, these will give us strength to be positive,” Sarfraz Ahmed said, adding that till the World Cup the national team is very busy so in tough times, this will be a great help.

All-rounder Muhammad Nawaz said that: “We have a tough cricket ahead in next four-to-five months and after seeing this band, I plan for the future tours with motivations.”

“Out coach made these especially for us so that our mindset remain positive and that of a champion,” fast bowler Hassan Ali said, adding the whole team is wearing these bands.
