The Punjab Public Health Agency (PPHA) arranged a meeting on curbing population growth, a local media outlet reported on Friday.
Officials and representatives from both local and international organisations were present at the meeting.
Learnings from the past sixty years and further measures such as improved use of contraceptives to attain FP2020 targets.
PPHA CEO Dr Shabnum Sarfraz said that while contraceptive use rate was low, the unmet need for family planning remained high.
FP2020 targets 50 per cent contraceptive use rate by 2020.
