Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will arrive on an official two-day visit to Pakistan on Thursday, upon invitation from his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement that apart from meeting the Pakistani foreign minister, he will also be calling upon President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Meetings between the dignitaries will touch upon bilateral relations and regional and international development.

Earlier on September 9, Saudi Information Minister Dr Awwad Bin Saleh Al-Awwad called on PM Imran and conveyed that Saudi Arabia fully supports Pakistan’s efforts to bring peace and stability to the region.

FM Qureshi and Information Minister Fawad Hussain Chaudhry were also present on the occasion.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations.
