The intentions and political prowess behind the passage of a law that prompted the exchange of land between Bahria Town Karachi and Malir Development Authority (MDA) were questioned by the Supreme Court (SC).
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar said, “Who built a big house in Lahore and how the Sindh government doled out prized lands to a third party.”
Earlier on May 4, the SC had declared the transfer of land between Bahria Town and MDA as illegal.
