Former first lady and wife of former premier Nawaz Sharif, Kulsoom Nawaz passed away at the age of 68 at a hospital in London on Tuesday.

Political leaders and other important personalities also expressed their sadness at the passing of Kulsoom Nawaz.
“It is tragic that her husband and daughter were prevented from being with her when she needed them most,” said journalist Najam Sethi.
“Expressing my sadness over the passing of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz. I extend my profound condolences to my brother Mian Nawaz Sharif Sahib and his family at this difficult hour. May Allah grant her jannat-ul-firdous,” said former Afghan president Hamid Karzai.
