The Lahore High Court expressed concern regarding three ministries and the Federal Government asking for more time to submit reports pertaining to Pakistani citizens on death row in Iranian jails.
LHC Justice Shahid Waheed was hearing the case and a deputy attorney general present in the court requested more time to submit reports regarding the matter.
The judge noted that the government should take the matter seriously as the lives of Pakistani citizens were at stake.
The court extended the time to two more weeks.
