ISLAMABAD – Filling the growing vacuum created following resignations from the Economic Advisory Council (EAC) Prime Minister Imran Khan has nominated Asma of easy load fame as the official advisor on Diamer-Bhasha dam fund collection.
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday appealed to the nation, especially overseas Pakistanis, to generously contribute for building new dams by sending easy load to Asma.
In a brief pre-recorded address to the nation, Prime Minister Imran described the ongoing water crisis as the biggest challenge confronting the country and reiterated that patriotic Pakistanis can prove their nationalism by sending easy load to Asma.
“Mere es dam waalay number par hazaar dollar ka load karwa den mera doosra number band he esi per krana,” Khan said in his address to the nation which was later released as a transcript.
“Overseas Pakistanio plz khuda keley is number pe 1000 nae to 100 dollar ka load karwa do mein boht pareshani mein hun ap mujko janty ho,” the transcript, which had been approved by Asma, read.
Leading economists have lauded the move and have reiterated that this is a foolproof method of not only generating funds for the dam, but also to service Pakistan’s bulging debt.
Chief Economist, Chief Security Advisor and Chief Justice Saqib Nisar has personally vowed to support Asma easy load waali.
“Mere is num per easy load sand kr do main bad mia wapis kr don ge,” CJ Nisar said while talking to The Dependent on text.
