LAHORE: Only eight out of 1,128 persons have been able to pass the written examination conducted for the post of additional sessions judge, with the pass rate standing at 0.7 per cent, according to the results given by the Lahore High Court (LHC).
The results were announced by LHC Chief Justice (CJ) Muhammad Yawar Ali.
Essentially, 2,420 persons had applied for the posts but only 2,323 fulfilled the criteria to sit in the exam. Moreover, out of the 2,323 persons, only 1,128 candidates appeared for the exams.
According to the result, no female candidate has been able to pass the written examination out of the total 101 who appeared in the exam.
The examination’s pass rate stood at 0.7 per cent.
